Road Race

After winning the National Pro-Singles title Kenny got a call from overseas to try his hand at Road Racing in Spain, with Honda BQR. He had no experience on the pavement but Noyes decided to go for it working hard with his new team in 2000 and 2001 as he worked on adapting his aggressive dirt track style to the technical Spanish road courses and discovered the secrets of tire selection and road bike set up.
By the end of the ’01 season Noyes was starting to get it figured out and in the last race, under the rain in Jerez, his race long battle for third place with Jose Luis Cardoso was a sign of what was to come. But it was in 2003 that Kenny had his breakthrough season putting it all together and winning the Spanish Superstock Series. He was on the podium six out of seven races, winning three and, once again proving that he was ready to take the next step.
In 2004 and still on the steep end of the road racing "learning curve" Kenny moved up to Spain’s premiere category, the 1000 cc Formula Extreme class, and also tried his hand at World Championship Endurance Racing. His progress from year to year has brought him into the select group of top Spanish riders ending the 2007 season by leading the final round for half of the race and finishing fourth after a race long battle among the top 6 riders.
So far in 2008 Noyes was one of the clear favorites to win in Spain’s premiere class and has Started out the season with a pole position, new track record in Valencia, and three podiums. A win in the 750 Suzuki cup, a second position in the World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Albacete, and a third in the first round of the CEV.
He continued to score wins, poles and podiums with Palmeto Kawasaki in 2009, but a couple of mechanical DNFs kept him out of the battle for the title. In 2010 he gets his Grand Prix opportunity with Team Jack & Jones by Antonio Banderas in the inaugural Moto2 season.
